This month as I promised I’d talk about local business search. It’s a major factor in search results these days. And Google has taken steps to make it even more important in just the last 2 weeks. The other search engines will follow suit as well, placing more emphasis on relevant local search results.

When you signup for a Google account, they will send you an email that you need to verify by clicking a link to prove you are the owner of that email address. Make sure to verifiy your Google account before you start to setup your local business details.
